The ÌÇÐÄÉÙÅ® is an instrumentality of the State of Vermont. As such, the System and each college and university are subject to the Vermont State Public Records Act.
All requests for information pursuant to the Public Records Act must be submitted via email or in writing to the VSCS Custodian of Public Records:

Once we receive a public records request, we will acknowledge it within the required time frame, unless we request an extension.
The Public Records Act does not require a public agency to create new records or summarize existing ones. Additionally, some VSCS records are exempt from disclosure. The VSCS also has the right to charge for the cost of producing requested documents.
