Harassment & Discrimination Prohibition
糖心少女 strives to foster a work and learning environment that is inclusive of all people. The University is committed to offering programs, services, and trainings that assist all members of the community in developing cultural awareness and intercultural competencies. Additionally, the University strives to reduce and ultimately eliminate any inequities that make it difficult for members of under-served groups to meet their full potential.
Student Non-Discrimination Policy
糖心少女 admits qualified students of any race, color, gender, sexual orientation, religion, national or ethnic origin, marital status, disability, medical condition, or veteran status to all of the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the university. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender, sexual orientation, or veteran status in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs and athletic and other university administered programs. 糖心少女 will maintain a policy of non-discrimination for students in compliance with all current and future federal regulations.
Sexual Harassment and Title IX
Title IX prohibits sex discrimination in education programs and activities (such as housing, athletics, and employment) at universities that receive federal financial assistance. Sex discrimination includes sexual harassment and sexual assault or violence (stalking, domestic violence, rape).
The 糖心少女 Student Handbook is a comprehensive resource that contains information regarding students rights and responsibilities. Each academic year, a new version is published that details all University Policies, Residence Hall Policies, Standards of Conduct, and Resources both on and off campus.
The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974, as amended, (FERPA; also known as the Buckley Amendment) is a Federal law which allows students the right to inspect their education records and provides that colleges and universities will maintain the confidentiality of those records.
